Talouspolitiikan professorit tyrmäsivät hallituksen toimet työllisuuden ja talouden kehittämiseen. Tämän ymmärtää hyvin, kun miettii esim. ettei 25 työtöntä mahdu yhteen työpaikkaan edes kepillä ja leikaaminen köyhimmiltä aiheuttaa vain lisää kuluja sekä työkyvyttömyyseläkkeiden kasvua. Perheiden kepittäminenkään ei auta koska kotimainen kysyntä laskee ja seuraavilta sukupolvilta viedään lisäksi tulevaisuus koulutuksesta leikkaamalla. Kun tähän vielä lisätään ”ilmaistyö” eli harjoittelut, kuntouttavat työtoiminnat, jne. niin jokainen järkevä ihminen voi nähdä, ettei tällaisilla toimilla vähennetä työttömyyttä vaan lisätään sitä.
Kummanko työnantaja palkkaa? Normaalin palkkatyöläisen vai ”ilmaistyölaisen” joiden kustannuksissa työnantajalle on melkoinen ero. Joku voi sanoa, että laki estää tällaisen, mutta mm. kuntouttavaa työtoimintaa käytetään surutta hyväksi työttömien siivoamiseen pois tilastoista. Tällainen toiminta on omiaan vääristämään yritysten eroja työmarkkinoilla, toinen saa ”ilmaisen ämpärin” ja veronmaksaja kustantaa, toinen maksaa palkat ja kulut normaalisti kuten kuuluukin. Toivottavasti järki löytyy mukaan päättäjille tulevaisuudessa.

The economic policies of the government was rejected by the professors including the development of unemployment. This becomes most obvious when thinking eg. that 25 unemployed people can’t fit into a single job, even with a stick and cutting money from poorest people will only cause more expenses as well as disability pensions growth. Sticking of the families does not help because domestic demand will fall, and the next generation will suffer the cuts of the future education. Add to this ”free work” or placements, rehabilitative work, etc. as every sensible person can see, that such action won’t reduce unemployment but will added to it.
Which will the employer hire? normal wage worker, or ”free worker”. Some might say that the law does not permit such, but for example rehabilitative work is blithely used for cleaning unemployed people from the statistics. This kind of activity is likely to distort the differences between the companies in the labor market, one gets a ”free bucket” and the taxpayer pays, the other need to pay salaries and costs normally as they should. Hopefully, the reason can be found for the decision-makers in the future.
